We invite applications from postdoctoral researchers and advanced PhD students (submission in 2025) who identify as women or belong to other marginalized gender identities and work in the microbial and molecular biosciences. The September Science Academy is aimed at early-career scientists who are beginning to explore their next steps and grow into future leadership roles.

We warmly welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who have taken time away from science, are working in less supportive environments, or are pursuing non-traditional career paths. Our goal is to create an inspiring space for scientific exchange, personal development, and connection—regardless of institutional setting or career history.

To ensure equal access, all selected participants will receive full funding for travel and accommodation.
