In detail, we provide the following state-of-the-art MS instrumentation and methods:
- Agilent 6550 iFunnel Q-TOF MS coupled to a 1290 UHPLC system for high resolution accurate mass (HRAM) MS or MS/MS analysis of metabolites, isotope label monitoring, and novel compound discovery
- Agilent 6495B Triple Quadrupole coupled to a 1290 UHPLC system for quantitative measurements of target molecules
- Agilent 6130 MSD Single Quadrupole MS coupled to a 1260 HPLC system for the standard analysis of small molecules. The instrument is also equipped with a fraction collector and a preparative pump for compound autopurification
- Agilent 1290 UHPLC equipped with a DAD detector for spectrophotometric measurements.
Instrument control, data visualization and peak integration are performed using the MassHunter and Chemstation software suites (Agilent). For explorative and multivariate analysis, replicate samples are analyzed by Mass Profiler Professional. For isotope-labeled products and intermediates, we employ emzed, a Python-based open source toolbox for the rapid analysis of isotopologues.
