Dr. Hartmann is a bioinformatician in translational clinical research, but came from a classic wet lab background and would be happy to share some of the turning points during her career, like how she came to switch her focus to computational biology (and how that is possible for everyone else too), how she had two children at fairly early stages of her career and how she managed to have a CV that includes "mobility" without moving abroad.
