Metabolomics and small molecules MS

The metabolomics core facility is well equipped to address the analytical needs for small molecule detection and quantification by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.  The types of analytes range from intra- and extracellular metabolites to the product spectrum of bioengineered enzymes and pathways. Although established methods are in place for the routine analysis of CoA esters, small organic acids, sugar phosphates, and polyketides, we offer custom-made solutions to compensate for diverse sample matrices.  To ensure sensitivity in both positive and negative ionization modes, UHPLC separation are carried out in an ion-pairing reagent free environment.
