Directed evolution is often limited by the throughput of selecting improved variants from libraries. We work on new microfluidic solutions to improve the selection throughput in directed evolution schemes of enzymes to >10e7 variants/day. In parallel we are working towards automated continuous evolution of enzymes to facilitate enzyme optimization for new reactions.
